EnergE-Bikes gets its name from the product it supplies. Electric bikes, known as e-bikes, get their energy from a battery powered electric motor. Electric bikes are a convenient, affordable and an emission free mode of transportation that creates a "viable alternative" to a moped, scooter, or vehicle. Our electric bikes can power you for up to 35 miles before you need to recharge, at which time you can bring the removable battery inside your home or office for charging. At EnergE-Bikes we provide the ride of a moped for the price of a bike!

Our electric bike has the following three modes of operation: motor only, pedal assist and pedal only, which is easily controlled by a switch on the handlebar. Each mode allows the individual rider to customize their EnergE-Bike experience.

Motor Only Function: The battery completely powers the bike allowing the rider to sit comfortably and cruise along at approximately 16 mph. This is ideal for riding to and from class, business commutes, or relaxing evening rides. A throttle on the handlebar, much like a motorcycle or moped, controls the motor while the pedals remain still for a relaxing ride.

Pedal Assist Function: This is the most efficient operation. It conserves battery power and still allows you to clip along at the pace of Lance Armstrong. A couple pedals and the electric motor kicks in giving you an extra boost in power and distance. The pedal assist function uses very little battery power, allowing you to go long distances without having to recharge the battery.

Pedal Only: The e-bike operates just like a regular bicycle.
